Objective
Awards & Fellowships

Our purpose is to create a logistics and supply chain forum for networking with industry think tanks,  researchers, consultants, academics, and humanitarian service agencies. This initiative was primarily motivated by the supply chain lessons learned over the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rapid technology-driven solutions emerged to respond to deal with the pandemic due to the sudden disruptions in various parts of the global supply chain. In many instances, these developments were not part of the immediate corporate agenda. This phenomenon can be considered as a 'crisis-led growth mindset' which has contributed to a steeper corporate learning curve to find ways for the companies to thrive and grow during this time. Unfortunately, there are many businesses that did not focus on learning from the crisis, rather kept themselves engaged with the short-term operational challenges.

I believe by taking advantage of this learning opportunity, will help us remain prepared for future challenges.

Management Consultancy Experiences

Throughout my career, I have worked on applied management consultancy projects with numerous global firms across different countries in Asia and North America. A few of them are listed below:

  • Canadian Tire, from 2010-2012. In this project, I helped Canadian Tire with streamlining their Inventory Management system with seasonal shifts in demand.

  • Sears Canada, 2010. This consultancy assignment was based on Sears’s Category Management challenges. As a part of the team of consultants helped Sears to reposition the stores across Canada.

  • United Nations Economic and Social Council for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP), from 2007 to 2008. I helped the UNESCAP’s Transport and Tourism division with cutting costs through streamlined ‘Outsourcing and Supplier Evaluation’ system.

  • Unilever (Thailand), from 2005 to 2006. I consulted this global firm on an interesting assignment in developing a logistics management process which is known as “cross-docking” in the fast-moving consumer goods industry.

  • Thai Automobile Manufacturers Association (TAMA), 2005. As a part of the team of consultants, I help the industry to develop supplier selection criteria based on ISO 14000.

  • Bangkok Hospital (Thailand), 2005. This was a healthcare professional's training consultancy project. Bangkok Hospital Group is Thailand's largest private healthcare facility located in Bangkok which handles both local and foreign patients from different parts of the world. In this consultancy assignment as a part of the team of consultants, we trained the management with the skills for healthcare process and service improvement.

  • United Nations Economic and Social Council for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP), 2004. In this industry-academia cross-disciplinary project as a junior consultant with a team of experts, I worked on developing the transport and logistics manual for the UN.

  • Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), from 2012-2015. In this project, I consulted the industry on Business Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility to maintain competitiveness in global markets.

  • Siriraj Hospital (Thailand), 2004. This was a healthcare process improvement consultancy and training project. Siriraj is Thailand's largest public healthcare facility located in Bangkok which handles more than 25,000 patients per day. In this consultancy assignment, we helped the management through process redesign for the OPD patients and hence reduced the waiting time and service improvement.
